Choose the door family
Compare hinged and pivot movement and choose the current online door that suits the passage and available swing space.
You do not need to know every door term before you start. This guide explains what to measure, what arrives at your home and which parts of the installation are best handled by a professional.

Jouw Stalen Deur is made for people who want to make the important choices themselves and complete the order online.
Start online, take your time and keep your configuration together until everything feels right.

Use the finished opening, not the old door leaf. The measuring checklist below shows exactly where to measure.
Select finish, glass, grid, handle, lock and opening direction. The preview and door price follow along.
Check your dimensions and choices in the summary, add the door to your cart and continue to secure online payment.
Good measurements are the best start for a smooth installation. Measure the finished opening after plastering, flooring and skirting are complete where possible.
Leave at least 70 mm of clear working room beside the opening for fitting the frame. If the numbers differ by more than 5 mm, measure again and contact us only if you want extra advice.
The parts arrive prepared for the selected system: a framed opening for hinged doors, or accurately aligned floor and ceiling fixings for pivot doors. Use two people for a glazed leaf and leave final fixing to someone comfortable with the substrate.
Remove the old frame, clean the reveal and confirm the finished size. Protect the floor before unpacking the door.
For a hinged door, set the frame plumb and level and check both diagonals. For a pivot door, position the floor plate and mark the ceiling plate exactly above it.
Use fixings suited to the wall, floor and ceiling. Secure a hinged frame at the prepared points; secure pivot plates only after their vertical alignment has been checked.
Hang the hinged leaf or place the pivot leaf between its bottom plate and top pin. Check the clearances, then adjust hinges or pivot damping until the movement is even.
Seal or trim the joint to match the wall. Clean the glass with a soft cloth and remove the protective film after the final works.

Glass is heavy and edges are vulnerable. Never carry or fit a glazed leaf alone. For a large or pivot door, use your own qualified installer if you are not confident about handling and final adjustment.

Yes, if you are comfortable measuring, drilling and levelling. Always use two people for a glazed leaf. A large or pivot door is safer with your own qualified installer because the components are heavy and the final adjustment matters.
Enter the finished wall opening in millimetres, measured at the narrowest points. Do not add fitting clearance yourself; the configurator uses the measurements you enter.
The configurator shows the door price including VAT. Delivery to site is the current fulfilment route and checkout shows the amount you pay online. Installation is not offered in the webshop.
You can edit the configuration before paying. After payment, contact us immediately if you notice an error; a change cannot be guaranteed once production has started.
That is common in renovation. Measure the width and height in three places, use the smallest values and check whether the finished opening needs preparation. Contact us if you want advice before ordering.
Photograph the packaging before opening and the damage as soon as you see it. Contact us within 48 hours with your order number so we can coordinate a replacement or solution.
